Three waves of gatherings in two consecutive days, each lasting 5 or 6 hours — gatherings really are tiring.
On the 23rd I met up with my high-school roommates. Originally there were only three of us, but by chance the girls’ dorm was hanging out together too; the two groups merged into one and suddenly there were 10 people. After lunch we went to Sister Na’s house to play. The nice thing was I learned a bit of mahjong, and made my little bro cry from losing — the trip was not in vain. The girls I met are all preparing for the graduate entrance exam, but everyone is under heavy pressure; the chance of a second attempt is not small. We left in a hurry at the end — a pity we didn’t take a group photo. Going home that evening I was so tired that I just said good night to my sister in a hurry and fell asleep.
On the 24th there were two gatherings. At noon it was with a few close girls — actually we hadn’t met for a long time either. Zhuwei actually said I’ve been a single dog since birth. Anyway, she can’t see me calling her Zhuwei. In the afternoon we ordered lots of desserts; the few of us chatted all afternoon. The desserts were delicious, and everyone ordered something different, so we got to taste many kinds — happy. Their grad-school exams went fairly well; my little bro and Zhuwei both enrolled at the same university. They’re going to be grad-school besties too — scary. (There are photos, at the end.)
In the evening I gathered with some high-school guy friends. Everyone just went hard — after dinner we went to sing KTV, and people drifted off along the way. I got home near 11 pm; I was really too tired.
My whole high-school class has scattered in all directions; everyone today simply can’t be gathered anymore. Thinking that we may only meet again at weddings, I feel a bit sad. When I get married, I want to be willful for once: all my high-school classmates can just give 20 yuan of gift money as a token — these days, every time we meet is one time less. Thinking that there are many high-school classmates I may never see again, I’d be in tears too. In the future there are even college classmates, and those friends I met while interning at Huawei and Tencent — some of them I really will never see again.
Seeing everyone made me really happy!!!! Super happy!!!
