The company machines are Debian-based with nothing in the default environment. SSHing in felt very uncomfortable — typing many commands by hand is truly terrifying, and vim wasn’t configured either. I deeply felt myself turning into an ops person 😂.
So I wrote this script, which basically sets up a beginner-level environment, including:
tmux: vim key bindings, a basic theme;
vim: from my vim config https://github.com/corvofeng/MyVimConfig, with an install script written in the style of SpaceVim;
oh-my-zsh: with so many machines, I also switched to a theme that shows the machine name;
htop: really much better than top — very comfortable for color-loving programmers;

ranger: a file browsing tool with quick jump/open and vim key bindings, from Max, Qi.

git lg: the plain
git logonly shows the current branch, so let’s switch to a more elegant way.
If you’ve never used the raw git log, you have no idea how good the picture below looks:

Pull requests are not accepted — if you want it in your own style, just fork it and modify.
After installing, choose for yourself whether to run vim +PlugInstall to install the plugins.
